Artist Statement...
I believe in art...
I believe in its feeling... That it lives...
Art is not art unless it moves the viewer...
I do not believe that art needs explanations...
I do not believe that an artist should explain his intentions...
My idea is simple, make the viewer feel...
Make the viewer imagine... believe... dream.
If I achieve this then I can call myself an artist... and the only way to know if I am or not is by reaching out to you.
This is my intention in this website.
I was born, Hugo Edward Juarez Jr.... but went by Ed most of my life... I have always loved art. Since I can remember, I felt the need to create and share what I created with others. I minored in art at Drew University, always planning on doing art as a hobby. Now, eight years later, I cannot do it as a hobby anymore.. I have realized that I need to do this... I need to share what I do.. who I am.. my art..
